Québec, June 28, 2023 – Today, participating vehicle manufacturers are launching North America’s first-of-its-kind Electric Vehicle (EV) battery recovery program EVBatteryRecovery.ca in the province of Québec. This industry-led battery recovery program will collect, transport, repurpose, remanufacture, or recycle eligible end-of-life EV batteries from hybrid, plug-in hybrid, all-electric and fuel cell vehicles that fall outside of the participating, established vehicle manufacturers’ management programs.
